A good friend once told me that I over-think. I guess it's true—when I'm not pretending to be a decent dancer, I am thinking. My thought process is a
lot like making porridge—you drop a few grains of rice in a pot, fill it with water, and boil it until the rice fills the whole pot. It really doesn't take much to get the wheels turning.

I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse, but what I do know is that it makes me a natural problem solver. Give me an idea and I'll run a marathon with it until there's a big pot of porridge. I also know that everything I've learned in this lifetime can potentially be thrown into the pot, and while formal education and industry work both have given me tools to unearth the countless solutions behind any idea, it's the day-to-day experiences that stir the porridge and give it a unique flavor.
